You know that I can sympathize with disappointing curly haircuts; I have had WAY TOO MANY of them in the past. Which place did you go to, so that I can avoid it? Cala Luna possibly?
Actually, my most recent good cut after losing my previous stylist was at a saturday's cheap cut. I was skeptical of the quality at first, but I loved a curly headed friend's cut and she recommended this lady. If you need it in the future, I can help :)
My hair really needs some help, but I'm waiting to get it cut until I get home...the mullet is still going strong in Granada! I have seen any combination of shaving, mulleting, and dreadlocking on the heads of the Granadines...eep!

1. It does not look incredibly short! I am surprised you had such a negative reaction. I don't think it's looks that short.
2. Which guy friend?
3. You look more than a little hot.
4. After I get back from the December cruise with the Johnsons, I'm going the Locks of Love donation again. We'll see how bad/good it turns out.
5. How much did you tip that scissor-wielding witch?

".......Somewhere along this glorious road of a BA in English, I’ve lost the simple pleasure and curiosity that is inherent in sitting down and reading.........".

I've heard the above sentiments from not a few English majors over the years - namely that formally studying literature with a degree in mind has taken away from them the simple fun from reading novels for their own sake, because they now approach novels cerebrally, rather than surrendering to them.

Never having studied literature I cannot empirically know this, so I must take it on trust.

Anyway, good luck with your own writing career.

I hate that they said that about my essay. I feel like it's so untrue. Wes is just as competent as I am, just perhaps the subject matter in Greg and I's essays is different.

I want to read that essay for similar reasons why you were so adamant about reading mine (or mine's)!

No I wouldn't. I think it's a stupid holiday.

Brianna, I feel like I had a dream about you last night. Maybe I feel that way because Dr. Gorman and I talked about you on Thursday. He had just read an essay I'd written about Rod Parsley, and he said he liked the introduction of other characters, namely Brianna.

Don't forget to submit to the ECC contest, Miss "on another level"!
